About the event
The Springfield Zoological Society is reviving a family favorite- Dr. Doolittle Day! Not only will you get in free on May 31st, but the amphitheater will have a full day schedule of exciting speakers and live music. The zoo will also be hosting Taft's Food Truck and Brain Freezers Dessert Truck in addition to their regular concessions. Community Exhibitors include: Animal Protective League Illinois State Museum Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum and Library Master Gardeners Springfield Police Mackville will be live on the amphitheater stage at 10, 1, and 3:30 with exciting guest speakers in between sets. (A more detailed schedule of main stage entertainment and animal enrichment activities will be shared closer to the date.)
